Safe and Secure Communities is a nonprofit corporation that is exempt from federal taxation under section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. As a 501(c)(4), Safe and Secure Communities is not required to disclose contributor information and, as a matter of policy, it does not voluntarily disclose such information. Safe and Secure Communities may accept unlimited contributions from any source, including individuals, corporations, and other legal entities. The IRS does not allow contributions to Safe and Secure Communities to be deducted as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.
